How to Point Your Cloudflare Domain to ServiceProMagic
Semi-automatic via API token, or fully manual — Cloudflare propagates in minutes

▶ Cloudflare DNS Setup WalkthroughOpen fullscreen ↗
Faster than manual — takes about 2 minutes
Cloudflare doesn't support one-click OAuth setup, but you can create an API token and let us configure your DNS automatically. This is the same approach used by Vercel and Netlify.
1
Log in to Cloudflare and find your Zone ID
- →Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in
- →Click on your domain name from the list
- →On the domain overview page, scroll down on the right sidebar
- →Copy the "Zone ID" — it's a 32-character string like "abc123def456..."
The Zone ID is on the right side of your domain's overview page, under "API" section.
2
Create an API token with DNS edit permission
- →In the top-right corner of Cloudflare, click your profile icon → "My Profile"
- →Click "API Tokens" in the left sidebar
- →Click "Create Token"
- →Choose "Edit zone DNS" from the API token templates list
- →Under "Zone Resources", set it to "Include → Specific zone → [your domain]"
- →Click "Continue to summary" → "Create Token"
- →Copy the token shown — you won't be able to see it again!

ZoneYour specific domain
Save your token somewhere safe immediately — Cloudflare only shows it once. If you lose it, you'll need to create a new one.
3
Enter token + Zone ID in your ServiceProMagic dashboard
- →Go to your ServiceProMagic dashboard → Domain Settings
- →Enter your domain name and click "Detect DNS"
- →You'll see the orange "Semi-automatic Cloudflare setup" card appear
- →Paste your API Token into the first field
- →Paste your Zone ID into the second field
- →Click "Configure Automatically →"
We'll use your token to configure the DNS records, then delete nothing you didn't ask us to touch. Your token is sent securely over HTTPS and is not stored.
4
Verify — usually done in under 5 minutes
- →After clicking Configure, verification starts automatically
- →Cloudflare DNS propagates in 2–5 minutes — fastest of any registrar
- →You'll see a green "Verified" badge when complete
Cloudflare is the fastest DNS to propagate — often verified in under 5 minutes!
Troubleshooting
"I'm getting an SSL error"
→ Make sure both CNAME records are set to DNS only (gray cloud), not proxied (orange cloud). This is the most common Cloudflare issue.
"I don't see my domain on the Cloudflare dashboard"
→ You may need to add your domain to Cloudflare first. Go to cloudflare.com → Add a Site.
"Error 1001 DNS resolution error"
→ The orange/gray cloud proxy setting is likely the cause. Set both CNAME records to gray cloud (DNS only).
"The API token setup said "Zone name doesn't match""
→ Make sure you entered the Zone ID for the correct domain. Copy it from the domain overview page, not the account overview.
"I lost my API token"
→ Create a new one. Go to My Profile → API Tokens → Create Token → Edit zone DNS. You can delete the old one once the new one works.
Ready to verify?
Cloudflare is fast — your domain may already be pointing correctly. Head to your dashboard to confirm.
